More Being Busy

I guess they forget to tell you how much graduation sucks. Well not graduation.. but the moments and hours and days immediately following it. It is like finally realizing the impending doom that is post-college life.

I just got to Chicago where I will be for about a month, before moving to LA. I am busy, but in the next few days will start to get you guys all caught up. While you are waiting check out the new extended Prometheus trailer.

I normally hate blockbuster type films.. but this one gets me. I am in.

Spurlock Is Mansome

Morgan Spurlock is back at it in Mansome. I am slightly intrigued if only because – 1. I like Morgan and most of his films, 2. I am in fact a man and that somehow connects me to this. Plus I enjoy Will Arnett, Jason Bateman and Zach Galifianakis.

Found on Craigslist

So I found this on craigslist. Thought I would share.

Scott has been a great friend to me over the last few years but as I am moving out to a new city.. I cannot bring him with me. It truly breaks my heart. Yes he is a walrus, but he is really no bigger then any average dog.
If you have any questions about him.. or want to know more email me. Attached is a picture and below are a list of likes and dislikes.

Scott Likes
Being a couch potato
Bath Time
Nap Time
Lap Time
Food Time
A good ol’ jack and coke at the end of a long hard day (sometimes he earns it.. but sometimes he just straight steals it. Watch out for that)

Scott Dislikes
Other Painted Walruses…. don’t ask but he can’t even be in the same room with one or he will throw a fit!
Being left upside-down. He will stay in that position all day just to spite you for doing it.
Electrical sockets. Well let me take that back, really he loves them. It is the sockets that don’t like him. If you are serious about keeping him make sure you get them all raised to at least waist high so he can’t lick them.
Bull in a china shop references. He feels that somehow it is a reference to his weight.
On that note- don’t ever. ever. call him fat to his face. That’s how we lost Gam Gam.

Anyway. Serious adopters only!

On Kickstarters

So its a film about Shepard Fairey.. How cool.

Based on the true story of Shepard Fairey’s first act of street art, OBEY THE GIANT tells the story of a young skate punk challenging a big-city mayor and the powers-that-be at art school. Frustrated by his inability to gain respect within the confines of art school Shepard sets out to gain notoriety and acclaim by targeting the most powerful man in Providence, former Mayor Buddy Cianci. Risking expulsion and jail time Shepard plasters Andre the Giant’s face over the image of Cianci on a campaign billboard. As word of Shepard’s prank gets out, Shepard learns that art is a weapon and attention is both a blessing and a curse.

Caine’s Arcade

So I know by now.. most of you have seen this. But if you haven’t.. be prepared to being emotional/crying/tears of joy/feel like a kid again or well nothing because you are already emotionally compromised and there is nothing there you evil evil person.

A 9 year old boy – who built an elaborate cardboard arcade inside his dad’s used auto part store – is about to have the best day of his life.

Man. The thing that gets me about it is how into it he was, no one gave him anything.. no one acknowledged him but Cain’e loved his arcade so he just kept on doing it. Brave little kid. Great guy who made the video, although it is interesting because he is a documentarian who filmed a story that wouldn’t have gotten as big as it did without him interacting with others, gathering and telling people about it. But still very awesome.

Well I made a stencil / poster for you guys to put up! It was just a quick illustrator thing, but put it up/use it you like! Send me the pictures too and I will put them up on our site.

They are pdf’s so you actually have to click on it.. I suppose.
