Like Right Now. I don’t think I have ever seen two gallery openings that have made me want to get up and paint as much at these two (both at home and… outside). Check them out, I after the (double!) break.
I am not going to sit here.. on this extremely hot and sticky leather couch in sunny Los Angeles (!) and say I wasn’t addicted to model building and painting as a kid. I was, probably more than healthy for a young boy at that age. In fact I will go as for to admit I was also completely addicted to miniatures – some of you will get that reference (most probably not). Well played Takanori.. makeing miniatures into f***ing fantastic art.. well played. Miniatures by illustrator/architect Takanori Aiba. More after the break (found on BOOOOOM)

I can tell you that people .. are people and that we are all very very similar. No I am not going to pretend to be the most worldly of travelers, but I like to think I have and can learn from what I experience. That being said I agree wholeheartedly – the concept of ‘us’ and ‘them’ is
Yeah So I went to that. Baaaaaam. First Los Angeles area gallery visit for us here at Ives Street.
Gallery to follow after the break.
