Yesterday we featured some images of Shepard Fairey and his team as they began work on the large ‘Shoplifters Welcome’ mural in East London. Today saw the artist and his crew return to Ebor Street to complete the mural which was based on a previously released print edition collaboration between Jamie Reid and Shepard Fairey. This is the first of a number of murals planned for London ahead of his Sound & Vision show set to open next week at Stolen Space Gallery in the Truman Brewery, so expect plenty more coverage of the artist over the next few days.
Besides the somewhat awful music.. A pretty sweet video. Nychos.
Look what we spotted this morning! How cute is this huge new mural on Ebor Street in East London. This giant jellyfish / octopus character with a cat perched on it’s head, is the work of South American street artist Felipe Yung aka Flip.
I just want to say PeeeEEeEz (like CHeeEEeese from Old school, anyone?)
I saw this guy in Barcelona.. almost bought a piece of his, it was about 8 x 9 inches, problem was it was 200 euro. No can do compadre.
Anyway – check it. Found on Hooked Blog.
